Le bâti bruxellois, source de nouveaux matériaux (BBSM) – Feder 2014-2020

As an applied research project within the framework of the 2014-2020 ERDF program, the BBSM project aims to develop circular processes within the Brussels construction industry.

Rotor’s main outcome is to provide an overview of current key trends regarding reuse in Brussels (Workpackage 1 – Inspirational document), to identify regulatory obstacles, as well as to suggest ways for reintegrating reused construction materials back into the European market (Workpackage 7 – Legal report).

This project is a collaboration between the UCL research group Architecture et Climat (project leader), AE-lab (VUB), BBRI (Belgian Building Research Institute) and Rotor, and comprises of ten work packages.

A project by Michaël Ghyoot, Lionel Devlieger, Lionel Billiet and Sophie Seys, with the help of André Warnier, Gaspard Geerts and Florian Brille.

A project supported by the the Brussels-Captial Region through the ERDF program 2014-2021.
